- Tree height is when planted in a standard 10-12 inch tall nursery liner. When planted in a slightly taller planter, we try to maintain the tree’s nominal height within a few inches. But when planted in a tall or pedestaled planter, the overall tree height must necessarily increase to accommodate that considerable difference in planter height, otherwise, the conformation of the tree must be unacceptably compressed. Example: when planted in a 28 inch tall planter, the height of a 6 foot (72 inch) tree must increase up to 16-18 inch, otherwise the original conformation of the tree cannot be maintained. This is especially true of layered topiaries, floor plants, or trees.
- When in a planter, no additional fill or ground cover is required. Each artificial tree arrives fully planted with ground cover, ready for use.
- Made in the USA of imported and/or domestic components. Each floral is handcrafted by a single designer, not mass produced. Production lead-time from receipt of order to shipment is normally 10-12 business days.
- Although "silk" is a common term used to describe artificial flowers and trees, the designs are actually made of materials that have more durability and do not fray or fade as silk does. Each bloom, leaf, and branch is individually wired to maintain realistic form, while the subtle colorations, shadings, and striations in the natural tree are duplicated to perfection.
- All product dimensions are approximate because each arrangement is individually hand-crafted of artificial floral components that are themselves wired and "arrange-able". So each is truly one-of-a-kind, a professionally arranged floral, not form mold assembly line design.
- Treat Distinctive Designs trees the same as you would live plants by avoiding exposure to direct sunlight or extremes of heat or cold. Exposure to intense UV rays could cause eventual discoloration.
- Cleans easily with a duster or dryer on cool setting.
- No assembly or "fluffing" required. Arrives ready for display.
